HOW BIBLE STUDY KILLS THE REVELATION OF THE BIBLE

Now I am aware that most Christians believe studying the Bible will give the revelation of God’s word. Well I don’t want to burst your bubble, but you cannot get the revelation through studying the Bible. I grant you that you can obtain knowledge of God’s word from Genesis to Revelation. But the revelation of what you are studying comes only through a submitted heart filled with love, by way of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit was given to guide and teach mankind in the ways of God. The Holy Spirit is the only way to get revelation knowledge. Studying the Bible from sunup to sunset will only produce interpretation. Think of how long man has been studying the Bible and look at all the religions that are supposedly based on the Bible. If studying the Bible is the right way, then why do we have so many religions? This is exactly my point. Since the Bible is a guideline to show man how to live a Godly life on earth, then how can people use it to destroy others? Again, it is because of the thousands of interpretations.

Are you saying studying the Bible is wrong? NO. I am saying studying the Bible does not give revelation knowledge! Reading the Bible is beneficial because it tells us whom we are and whom God is. But after reading we need to close the book, open our hearts, and listen to the still small voice that speaks to mankind. Those who think they are doing what God wants them to do by having weekly Bible study are misled. God wants you to know him. HOW? By loving God with all your heart, soul, and mind. Jesus said it first, and this my friend is the only way to hear the Spirit of God speaking to you.

A prime misinterpretation of the Bible is Tim. 2:15 were Paul is telling Timothy to study and be eager to do the best he can, so he can present himself approved of God. Now most religious people use this verse to prove that we are supposed to study the Bible, but if we look at the two following verses we will see that Paul is telling Timothy to study everything and all ways that lead to presenting yourself to God. Believers are to do their best to receive the approval of God. Studying the Bible, but not loving your neighbor as you love yourself will give you a life of hell. There was no Bible to study, in Paul days, and Bible study would have been specified if this is what Paul meant. But, if we read this verse from the King’s James version we can easily be lead into believing that the word study means to keep reading the Bible. Well if studying the Bible makes us acceptable to God, then it means we can earn God’s approval. This is ridiculous. Think of all the people you know who studies the Bible, some become Bible scholars, but have no revelation knowledge, and no practicality of a Christian life style.

People who live from Bible study are missing the mark, People who understand Tim. 2:15, means doing all you can to show yourself approved of by God, are so busy helping others that they find it difficult to have regular Bible study. Now I suggest the misinterpretation of this scripture keep mankind in bondage about how to present ourselves approved of God. Many are led to believe that the lack of Bible study will keep them out of heaven, this is not truth. Others feel not hearing from God during Bible study means they are out of contact with God. During Bible study if you find it difficult to hear the Spirit it is because your spirit is longing to be with the Holy Spirit in a more peaceful surrounding. Lastly attending Bible study is financially beneficial to organized religion. Have you ever attended Bible study without having the basket passed for collections?

If studying the Bible is the right way then why Did Jesus teach the people the revelation of God words, instead of sending them to the Priest to read the word to them? Remember Jesus said He always got His prayers answers because He always did the Father’s will. Why was it said Jesus spoke with power? Cause He did not read the scriptures to the masses, instead He was a walking Bible. Jesus always spoke revelation knowledge, because His heart was in communication with The Father’s Love.
He did not have to walk around with a Bible under His arm.
Now I am not here to condemn, but to clarify that once we open our hearts to the love of God, we will receive revelation knowledge and we will know all things. That is the purpose of the Holy Spirit. And this is the only way mankind will all be on the same note when it comes to understanding the Bible. Jesus was the one who said that He would send His Holy Spirit to guide us and teach us into all trues, and we don’t need a man to teach us. (Jn. 14:26). Let me say it was not until I got the revelation of this scripture that I began to receive revelation knowledge. You are welcome to continue Bible study, but please understand you are slowing the reception of the revelation knowledge that the Holy Spirit was sent to give. Why not get alone with the word of God? Read a verse or chapter of interest, close the Bible and ask the Holy Spirit for revelation knowledge on what you have learned. You will receive wisdom and understand ing. If this process does not work for you then you tried it, but you did not believe the scripture that says, ask and you shall receive.
Remember when you want to know what God is saying, you must open your heart, then you will be able to hear loud and clear. All those who can’t hear the Spirit are too involved in man’s interpretation of the Bible. Thought the Holy Spirit was sent to guide you into all trues it will not insist on you following, it is left to each person to receive revelation knowledge or continue to follow man’s interpretation.
