God’s Love Let me start by saying God’s Love is different as human love. Yet within each human is the love of God. This is simply because God created mankind out of His Love, in His image and likeness. Gen. 1:27 tells us that God decided to create man in His own image because God wanted us to have a part of Him, down here on earth. The scripture also says that God created the man for His pleasure. (Ps 149:4) So you say God can’t love a man because the first man (Adam) messed up. Well if we look at the Bible, we will see that God’s Love was very much in action when Adam made a mistake. Gen. 3:8-10 show God was the One who went looking for Adam and called him out of guilt (sin) to return to the image God created him in. If we meditate on these scriptures, we will see that God never changed. He loved Adam continually. Why? Because man was created in God’s Image and likeness, and God could never be angry with Himself. I am talking about the real self, not the self that makes mistakes. God never causes people to be good or bad; He created everyone with a choice. God never wants us to get revenge, or be unforgiving. God is Love, from the beginning to the end. It would make no sense for God who created mankind, like Himself (spiritually) without having enough Love to cover His Crowning Glory (mankind). We have lived in this worldly system so long that we now try to bring God down on our terms. If someone mistreats us, we are very quick to retaliate, but not God. God is always Loving. The problem is a man cannot receive God’s Love, with an unclean heart. So he goes about wondering how could God love him, when he doesn’t love himself. But, I would like to tell you that God’s Love is independent of your actions. Your actions either set you free or entrap you. If you are someone who loves people, then you are free. Jesus said if you think evil of someone, you have already murdered. And He didn’t add any, but, and, or maybe so. What you do outwardly is a result of what you have inwardly. The Spirit of God cannot be seen with the natural eye, but the mind can receive the Love of God. Once we move our physical parts out of the way, our heart will be able to communicate with God. This communication is confirmed, in the body, by the love we show to one another. The most sure way to tell whether a person is truly in fellowship with God is the way he treats people, when no one is looking. Remember it is God’s very own Love that keeps us seeking to know Him more and more, not our great works It was a great God that created man in so much Love that even in this day and time nothing can tear us away from His Love. The next times you wonder whether God loves you, look up and know that the sun, moon, and stars testify of God’s love everyday. They were all created for the betterment of mankind, that man would also be able to testify of God, everyday. Not one time did they refuse to do God’s will, or doubted whether God loved them, or complained against God. So what is man’s excuse?
