FRIENDSHIP WITH GOD Friendship with God is mandatory for happiness which explains why there are many unhappy people on earth. No one can have friendship with God and hurt others for friendship with God can only be shared through a heart filled with love, and this same love leads to loving mankind. GOD DOES NOT LOVE US BECAUSE WE ARE GOOD ENOUGH, HE LOVES US BECAUSE WE ARE HIS CHILDREN. If God waited for mankind to be good enough to obtain His friendship not one of us would make it. Truth is, God redeems us in our failures though most fail to answer the call. Many have been taught wrong information about God from birth, seeing God as a tyrant instead of a Father which leads to serving God out of fear. God has been redeeming mankind every since mankind came into being. Looking in Gen. 3:8--9 we find God going to get His man and woman to bring them back from their shame. Notice that God is calling mankind because He knows sin causes mankind to be ashamed to face Him. Knowing God went to get Adam and Eve after they lost His plan for mankind assures us He will forgive us, and be with us though we often fall from His grace. God is in the same place He was when He created everything; on His throne of Love, but wrong teaching keeps us from knowing we are the children of God; therefore, we go to God in fear instead of faith and Fatherhood. God created mankind out of love so He could extend His Friendship. Now, if you do not feel like a friend of God it is not His fault for God never changed His mind about being mankind’s friend. Knowing within that no matter what is written about God, or were it is written God never destroyed or punished mankind, keeps me away from the religious crowd. OK, what about the flood, it is written that God sent the flood to destroy mankind because He could no longer tolerate man’s sin. Well, let me see how to tell you that something is wrong with Gen. 6-7 where it talks about God destroying mankind. First, let us look at Gen. 6:5 and see that God has just promised mankind a hundred and twenty years on earth before He supposedly changes heart to destroy mankind in Gen. 6:6-7. Gen. 6:8 starts with a contradiction that confirms: But Noah found a favor in the eyes of the Lord. So far we have God giving mankind a hundred and twenty years on earth, but changes His mind and decides to wipe mankind out because of sin, then God changes His mind again and decide to preserve Noah. The word of God says God does not change, so how can we justify these changes that have been contributed to God? Now listening to our heart we know that God would not harm us, but reading the letter in the Bible we find contradictions which is why Jesus taught, the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life. Simply put, the truth about certain facts in the Bible can only be revealed through your heart. So challenge yourself and ask your heart to reveal the truth of these scriptures, but remember to listen to the heart and not what you have learned. There is no way your heart will accuse God of mast destruction. To simplify what I am revealing ask yourself if you would kill your child if he were accused of murder. I don’t know of anyone mentally stable that would kill their own children, yet this is exactly what we are accusing God of. Another reason, I cannot accept God killing mankind is the ministry of God’s prophets including Jesus, Mohammed, Ghandi, taught a God of love. Why would Jesus, come to earth to reveal God the Father if He knew God punishes and destroys? Why did Jesus having all power not destroy those seeking to kill Him? Remember, everything Jesus said about God concerned God’s love for mankind. Where did all the teachings about God’s wrath come from? Who dared take something Holy and insert their understanding? I do not have all the answers, but I am sure that God is my friend and the friend of mankind. Mankind is fortunate that God put a part of Himself within us, but unfortunately most do not know a part of God is within them which is why the world does not share a universal brotherhood with God being the Father no matter what His name is. The lack of friendship with the Father causes us to live life halfway trying to carry every burden. Friendship with the Father gives peace in the storm having our trust and reliance on a Father that will never forsake us. This means when problems arise we go back to the song of David while in the wilderness running for his life, Thought I am walking through the valley of death I will fear no evil for God is with me. Ps. 23. This prayer explains why David could defeat anything that came against him. When David faced Goliath he put shame an entire army. The Israel Army burned incense and prayed for protection continually before going to battle, but David went against Goliath pronouncing he would cut Goliath’s head off and feed it to the birds. David could get the victory because he knew God would not forsake him. Having God as a friend you are guided in the right direction, and know someone is there to help you along the way. Friendship with the Father also gives peace concerning death. Knowing I will be with the Father after death takes the fear away. Now I don’t intend to commit suicide or do something foolish that could cost my life, but the terror of dying is no longer a part of my living, therefore, I can live everyday filled with the knowledge I have a Friend. Start your truth journey with a desire to know the true God and how He fits into your life. Honestly seek for God’s friendship without getting caught in the trap of seeking mankind’s approval. A relationship with God the Father keeps us from getting involved in fake organizations pretending they know God. Knowing God guarantees you will not follow doctrines of man, and know what is Godly. This is why I cannot express how important it is to seek God only if you are willing to change for once you meet the Father you will be changed. Once I was full of hate for mankind, but now I love people. Thank God! Now many of us have been caught in the web of church, listening to messages about sin which keeps us in bondage and financial debt to be sin free, but the deadliest trap of the church system is teaching about the prophets instead of what the prophets taught. Therefore, we are taught facts about God, but we don’t know God as a Father so we go to Him in fear and hope He is pleased enough with us to supply our needs. What if your children came to you only when they wanted something instead of coming because they wanted to be near you? What if your children got up everyday and begged you for health and wealth? What if your children didn’t believe your promise to take care of them? What if your children came to you in fear instead of respect? Well, thank God He is our friendly Father because I for one wouldn’t continue to reach out to someone who didn’t love or trust me. Asking questions about anything you do not understand within your heart allows you to receive answers within the heart for as long as you ask to obtain wisdom you will be rewarded, but if you are asking out of curiosity you will not hear truth, and unfortunately will see only deception similar to the religious people of Jesus’s time. Start reading and understanding what Jesus taught about the Father for Bible readers, and reading with understanding what Mohammed said about the Father for those reading the Koran. It is the misinterpretation of the prophets that have led to gross misunderstanding of Holy scriptures. Remember God was called a friend and Father of humanity, by the prophets.
