| FEAR STOPS THE WORK OF GOD HOW MANY CHRISTIANS TO YOU KNOW THAT LIVE DAILY WITH FEAR? They are either afraid for themselves or for their family. Many Christians are afraid to admit they have fears, so behind closed doors they begged God to keep them safely and protect their family. Well what is wrong with asking God to help you? EVERYTHING! Asking God to help us put us in a position of defeat. Those that know God help continually, give thanks to Him instead of begging for what is rightfully theirs. The Bible says those that believe in the Lord are bold as lions not house cats, but how many lions to you know? How many people to you know that know everything will be fine, no matter what happens? God has always had a few brave men and women to stand boldly in the face of anything, because most socall-ed believers turn and run at the first sign of danger which is why countless innocent people have lost their lives as they prayed to God to take care of them. God cannot give mankind what He has already given him from creation. It is not Gods fault that people are afraid, people choose to be ignorant to the power God has already given. Contrary to fear is the boldness of knowing God loves you and has legions of angels to protect you, and nothing can stop you. The Bible says if we make our bed in Hell God is with us. So no matter how dark it seems God has already given you all the protection and power needed to escape any situation. Read the books Roman and Hebrew to receive the strength that is yours. Be sure to read these books with the intention of receiving boldness. When we look at King David, we discover that he learned to trust God at an early age. The advantage of David over many modern day Christians is his personal relationship with God. David received this knowledge of God when he was a small sheperd boy alone with his sheep. There were no preachers, no prayers meetings, and no revivals, so there was no chance to be taught doubt. When David faced lions and bears there was no- where to run or no one to help, so David stood and destroyed anything that came against him because he knew God was with him. This knowledge kept David from cowardly running away when he saw Goliath, scripture quotes David saying he would destroy Goliath the same as he destroyed the lion and the bear. And let me point out that David was the only one willing to face the giant, while King Saul and Israels entire army shook in terror. Sure they burned incense and prayed for protection, but these rituals did not give peace to the troubled army. Fear blind-ed their eyes, and they saw themselves as ants compared to Goliath. Fear is the result of not knowing God is with you, and causes you to tremble in the face of danger. That is why the Bible says those that know they are righteous in God, are bold as a lion. (Pro 28:1) Everywhere David went he knew God was with him, for him and within him, so nothing could stop him. Now the righteousness of David was not because David was perfect, because we know he made mistakes and had faults, but it was knowing God as Father that accounts for Davids righteousness. Each one of us makes mistakes and has faults, but how many of us will accept God is with us, thou we are not perfect? Jesus often said we must be as children to enter the kingdom (knowing God the Father is with you, for you, and through you means nothing can stop you, because you are led by the same Spirit that lead Noah, Abraham, David Jesus Mohammed, Buddha, Ghandi, and all great that contributed to the well being of mankind. Jesus primary reason for walking the earth was to bring mankind mack into relationship with God the Father. This is the kingdom message that God intended for mankind to have, but we have been taught a God different from what Jesus taught, and this is were the problem comes in. When we return to the kingdom God intended us to have, originally, we shall receive the courage babies have as they take their first steps, and as we continue to walk in the kingdom of Gods love and trust, forgetting our fail- ures we shall become bold as lions and spring forth in life on a renewed strength that was given at creation. |
